Sudha Sharma

Sudha R. Sharma

VP, Workplace Technologies, Kaiser Permanente Information Technology

Sudha Sharma is the Vice President of Workplace Technologies at Kaiser Permanente. She has been with Kaiser Permanente for just under 12 years and leads a portfolio delivering enterprise services, including Collaboration, Endpoint, Voice and Network services.

Sudha has led several distinct areas during her tenure with KP including the Office 365 deployment across all of Kaiser Permanente(KP). The Office 365 program was a true transformation for KP and highlighted

Sudha’s expertise at implementing modern technologies across a wide and diverse user base. Sudha has also managed the IT Asset Management function for KPIT and the Enterprise Client Services function, managing a staff over 500 resources supporting all of the California based Kaiser Permanente Care facilities.

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Sudha led the Financial systems strategy at Visa, as well as the Configuration and Asset management functions. While at Visa, Sudha was part of the executive team leading Visa’s IPO. She subsequently led the program to establish an integrated corporate systems strategy across all regions and then managed the program to implement the systems strategy, with appropriate SOX and audit controls.

Before working at Visa, Sudha managed several successful large-scale Oracle and SAP ERP implementations. Prior to her IT roles, Sudha led internal audit and corporate finance functions.

Sudha is a Chartered Accountant and has also completed the Executive leadership program from Harvard Business School

 

Subhash Kamath

Subhash has been in the advertising business for 25 years.

 He started his career with Ogilvy before moving on to Trikaya Grey, Ambience Publicis, and eventually as the Group CEO of Bates 141.

 Subhash joined BBH INDIA as a founding managing partner in January 2009 and has been busy for the past 4 years in kick-starting the “dream agency of the future”.

 Over the years, he has been associated with many famous brands and their subsequent success stories. These include Nokia, Lakme, Saffola, Parachute, Britannia, Arrow and Lee jeans, to name a few.

 At BBH today, he oversees an enviable portfolio of brands like Johnnie Walker, Google, Skoda, Vaseline, Marico, Airtel and Red Bull amongst others.

 Extremely passionate about brand building, Subhash loves to be closely involved with brand strategies and creative development.

 He’s happily married with 2 children, plays in a rock & blues band called ‘Wanted Yesterday’, and is crazy about cricket, single malts and good food.

Surjya Kar

Born in 1961 in a well known family of North Calcutta, Surjya was educated in Calcutta Boys’ School, Calcutta and St Xavier’s College, Calcutta. Surjya received the NSTS (National Science Talent Scholarship) award in High School in 1978. He was a part of the winning team in the All India Douglas Bose Debate competition in 1979.  

 Along with his graduation, Surjya pursued the Chartered Accountancy course from 1981-1984 and completed the same at a very young age. He was ranked in the top 50 both in Intermediate (rank 32nd) and Final (rank 9th) examinations and bagged the J K Doshi award for the best paper in Financial Management in May 1984. He worked for a short while with M/s Lovelock & Lewes and M/s Coopers and Lybrand before joining the family business.

 Surjya is an avid reader, a music lover and a strong follower of the performing arts. He is involved with English and Bengali theatre in Calcutta having performed in over 40 plays. He has, also, travelled to the U.K. with Mahesh Elkunchwar’s play “Party” (in English) doing 8 (Eight) public shows at reputed centre’s like Nehru Centre, Harrow Art Centre, Lowry Theatre in Manchester, Watermann’s in London, Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield etc.
